  • What if an emergency comes up and I have to cancel, what should I do?
Life happens. Please let us know 24 hours before your designated photoshoot! You will be able to cancel and reschedule for a later date with no problem. However, if you cancel and reschedule the second time, you are subject to a rescheduling fee.
  • What happens if I have a specific idea/theme/photos in mind for the type of photoshoot I am wanting?
If you have a specific idea or theme in mind for a photoshoot, it is important to communicate the vision clearly to the photographer. This helps ensure that the images align with your expectations and capture the desired concept. Sharing reference photos and discussing ideas in detail can help the photographer understand your vision and work collaboratively to achieve the desired results.
  • Should I practice posing?
No, I'm here to serve you! In our 30 minute consultation, I will ask a variety of questions to get an idea of your vision for the session and from there I will have an idea of how to pose you. Please note that you will be shown a variety of flattering poses that will complement you and/or your loved ones.
  • What should I bring to the photoshoot?
Water, a smile and cash or debit/credit card!
  • If I'm running late, are you charging a late fee?
Absolutely, time is money! An additional $50 charge payable with cash, debit or credit can be made prior to the shoot if you are 10 minutes late.
  • Do you require a deposit?
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required when booking online, with the remaining balance due in person. Payments can be made via cash or debit/credit card. For in-person credit/debit card transactions, a processing fee of 2.6% + 10 cents applies when using the Square Card Reader.
  • Why should I hire ESC Photography LLC?
Great question! The owner, Ebony, truly has a passion for taking portraits of people and it shows when you receive the finished product. What separates her from other photographers is that she has a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University.
  • Do you offer studio sessions as well?
Despite the absence of a studio, top-notch camera, lighting and backdrops are used to capture studio-quality images. If interested, inquire, and the option to shoot at your home is available.
  • Will I be able to choose my own photos from the shoot?
Yes, see the questions below for more information.
  • Will my photos I receive be watermarked?
You will receive the final images without watermarks. However, if you're receiving proofs to select your favorites, these will have watermarks until your choices are made. Once you've picked your favorite images, the watermark will be removed and you can download them from a Dropbox link one week after selection.
  • What if I want more images than what you are giving me?
An invoice can be sent out for the desired amount of additional images you would like. The cost is $50 per additional image you want!
  • How long will it be before I receive my photos?
You will receive the images one week from the day of the photoshoot. If you are choosing your proofs, it could be longer depending on how long it takes for you to choose which images you like! If you would like to purchase prints, it takes between 7-15 days to receive them.
  • Do you deliver every image you take?
We focus on delivering quality over quantity. After your session, you'll have the opportunity to select the images that best capture your vision. If you’d like to add more beyond the initial selection, additional images can be purchased for $50 each.
  • What if I want to order prints? How does that work?
After you receive the images, a conversation can take place laying out the different printing options and prices that will be available to you!
